EPF Hosts its First Event

Santa in the Park sees a happy turn out.

The Eskridge Park Foundation stepped up efforts to to put its name out into the community by hosting a free Santa in the Park event on December 16, 2017. This year, the Eskridge Chamber of Commerce was unable to to perform their yearly Santa visit on Main Street, so the EPF decided it was a great year to volunteer. Santa rode up on the back of the firetruck with the lights and sirens announcing his arrival. The kids ran for joy to greet him!

The kids each got to visit with Santa and cookies and hot cocoa were passed around to everyone who came. The weather was a blessing and everyone reported a wonderful time!
